Chamaecyparis lawsoniana Ellwoods Gold

Height: 0,4–0,5 m

The golden Lawson cypress is an evergreen tree with a regular, conical crown that slowly grows to a height of 2-3.5 m. It can form several tops, which makes it more spacious. At the tips of the shoots, the leaves are bright golden yellow, later turning yellow-green. It grows best in a sunny spot, in well-structured soil. Its water needs are medium. Thanks to its versatility, it fits perfectly into several types of gardens, for example as a solitary plant, as a backdrop for perennial beds, as a hedge, or even as a decorative element in the garden.
